This part of my photographic output is possibly the most fun, most creative and least financially productive out of anything that I do. But I enjoy it so what the heck...

I was nine when Star Wars came out, and that film and the blockbusting genre it spawned had a huge effect on me as I was growing up (and judging by what I occasionally shoot now it still does have a hold over me). And so, whilst I might describe myself as a landscape and travel photographer, I can't always go out and shoot that sort of image. Take today as an example. It's cold, it's wet, I have limited time so it's the perfect opportunity to let the imagination fly, and try something a bit different...
